Parent Café- Friday, April 13th: Support for Families- Tips and Strategies for Managing Stress

Parent Café will be on Friday, April 13th. Parent Café is meant to be a time to network with other preschool parents, learn something new, and share about your own experiences. Please sign in at the office with a photo ID. As a reminder, this is a parents only event. The presentation starts at 9:15 and will last until 10:15. Please feel free to start arriving by 9:00. This month's topic is titled: Support for Families- Tips and Strategies for Managing Stress. The presentation will be facilitated by Frederika C. Theus, PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

the importance of understanding the adaptive and maladaptive role of stress
the typical sources of stress for parents and children, including those with special needs
methods of identifying stress triggers in children and how to be proactive
strategies for managing stress symptoms once they occur
