Membership
Hello and welcome new Prairie Children Preschool families and welcome back to our returning families!
We are already busy planning the 2016-2017 school year and have a lot of wonderful events planned for our students and their families.
Your involvement and membership in the Prairie Children Preschool PTA is very important. As a member, your family receives free admission to all of the social events and you are given the opportunity to vote at our PTA meetings. Most importantly, you are helping to provide educational and social enrichment opportunities that might not otherwise be possible – opportunities such as Fundraising Drives, Educational Speakers, The Fall Festival, The Sweetheart Dance, The Spring Picnic and the Reflections Program, just to name a few.
As they say, many hands make light work, and I am excited to see both our returning PTA volunteers, and many new ones as well! Research proves that when a parent volunteers, it has a positive effect on their student's success. When parents are involved in their children's education, they achieve more, schools perform better, and even teacher morale improves. Ultimately, school communities are stronger when parents get involved. I’d like to challenge each of you to not only join the PTA, but to find a way to get involved this year. There is a volunteer opportunity for everyone, whether you have a few minutes a month or a few hours a day, we have opportunities for everyone. Let’s make this year a great one!

PTA Meeting Dates:
Please consider attending a PTA meeting this school year. Not only do we provide free childcare during each meeting, we also try to keep the meeting to one hour in length. It's a great way to learn about what's going on at our preschool, in District 204 and how to get involved. See you there!
