Prairie Children Preschool offers early childhood education for preschool children. Each classroom has approximately 16 preschoolers staffed by one teacher with a 4 year degree in regular and special education; many also have obtained their masters degree. There are two teacher assistants in each room as well. The teacher to student ratio is 1:6. Consistent with District 204’s philosophy, Prairie Children Preschool serves all children in the District. Approximately 750 children attend the Preschool.

The District serves parts of Aurora, Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Naperville, Illinois. The Prairie Children Preschool is located on the first floor of the Indian Prairie School Crouse Education Center.

Registration for 2010-2011 School Year

• Registration packets for current students and alumni will be sent home the first week of December.
   
• Application packets for new students will be available on the preschool website and in the preschool office beginning December 18th.

Preschool Developmental Screening

Residents of Indian Prairie District 204 who have concerns regarding
the development of their preschool child, may call 375-1151 in order to
receive screening information for their child.
