Mark Glynn, Chiropractic Physician
In 2006, Indian Prairie Preschool started a new business
partnership with SportCo Rehabilitation. They are conveniently located
next to the preschool and provide chiropractic care, massage therapy,
physical therapy, rehabilitation exercises and nutritional counseling.
Dr. Glynn and his staff kicked-off our partnership by providing free
consultation and chair massages to the preschool staff. He also
provided information packets for our PTA meeting. We look forward to
continuing this partnership in the future.

This partnership was established for the 2002-2003 school year with Aurora
Fire Department. This partnership was sparked by a field trip to the Aurora
Fire Station because of the events of 9-11 World Trade Center disaster. On
November 19, 2001, staff from the preschool and Aurora firefighters worked
together at the fire station to cook a chili luncheon. They then served the
luncheon from their fire trucks to the staff from the preschool and the
District Education Center where staff and parents raised over $2000 that was
given to the 9-11 relief fund.
Since that time, the men from Aurora Fire
Department have come to visit the preschool to give talks on fire safety in
October. The Firemen of Station #8 also visit the preschool each April for
the "Month of the Young Child." At that time, the Aurora Fire Department
participates in our "On FIRE for Reading" Program. The firemen attend the
preschool throughout the month to read to the children and demonstrate the
importance of literacy with our little ones! The kids also love the
opportunity to visit the fire trucks and to spend time with these “role
models” of the community.
We are looking forward to continuing to develop our
business partnerships and strengthen our community relations during this
school year and the years to come!
PLEASE FREQUENT ALL OF THESE PARTNERS AND LET THEM KNOW HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE THEIR SUPPORT!
